Beaten by time,
covered in signatures
and painted postal stickers
is an ancient artifact,
the corpse of a payphone,
sitting along the sidewalk
calling out a warning
of eventual change
to the ever-evolving city.
Chuck is a writer and winner of the Mad Cave Studios 2020 Talent Hunt. He released two works of fiction and multiple comic projects. In 2022 his fourth poetry collection, ‘People Watching,’ was released and his second musical poetry project was released with his art collective, Katcheen Tongues.
