Winter Issue Submissions Open!

There are places that feel wrong from the moment you enter them.

Somewhere between the familiar and the unknown, there is a threshold.

For our Winter Issue, Sage Cigarettes Magazine invites you to step across it.

Our theme is Liminal Spaces ~ the places, moments, memories, and states of being caught between what was and what comes next. Our last issue theme was Depths. This time, we aren’t going down. We are standing at the threshold.

What waits on the other side?

We welcome poetry, short fiction, nonfiction, visual art, photography, and other strange little offerings that belong in the in-between.

Think abandoned places.
Unfinished goodbyes.
Empty rooms.
Dreams you can’t quite remember.
Doors that shouldn’t be open.
Places that feel familiar for reasons you can’t explain.
The moment before becoming someone else.

Or don’t.

Make the threshold yours.

SUBMISSIONS will be open from October 1–31
