Dear contributors & readers,
Sage Cigarettes Magazine will be on full hiatus (including social media & all email responses) from today through the end of January 2026.
We will return in February of 2026 for first quarter blog submissions. Book reviews have been absorbed into the blog at large & are no longer open on a rolling basis. Blog submissions will open quarterly & include all media reviews, current events, & pop culture work. However, in 2026 we will NOT be open for nor publishing 4th quarter blog submissions.
In 2026, we will continue publishing 2 literary issues annually, but they will shift seasons to Summer & Winter. Our 2026 calendar is likely to evolve as we go, but you can view our official calendar as it stands currently.
Going forward, we will only accept submissions within announced submissions periods & only through submissions@sagecigarettes.com. Submissions sent to individual editors may not be acknowledged.
Past or current contributors seeking edits, reviews, blurbs, recommendations, etc. are advised to inquire directly through submissions@sagecigarettes.com or lefrancis@sagecigarettes.com. I typically do check my email even during hiatus, but may have a longer response time.
We want to thank all of our contributors for sharing their work with us in 2025 & all of our readers for supporting the amazing authors & artists we have published. We wish all a very happy holiday season & a peaceful winter season.
