by Kelli Simpson
for 9 time NBA All-Star Russell Westbrook
the hang between the jump and the shot
where gravity is not a god
the kiss off the glass
for three at the buzzer
fine as your own brand of shoes
To lose
is inches and angles
blood in the paint
sweat in your eyes.
Clutch time
is the shooter’s roll
and a rim as big
as a moon.
