By Madalyn R. Lovejoy
ghost town
a november remembrance
of moving home, leaving the present
pausing life to fly from a town
bustling with life
with traffic
with bodies
ever-present, always moving
our dreary drive through the streets
almost feels like
an unbecoming
a hollowing of body, of city, of soul
us spirits left
we feel something
like pride in our
unending haunt on the town
